An older model i made back in 2008 that i reworked recently, depicting Azrael chapter master of the Dark Angels Space Marines from warhammer 40k universe.40 mm,scratchbuild, painted with acrylics using NMM technique
Superb work in every way. It's better than the production mode, beautifully painted, exceptional converting/sculpting work (I'd love to see it unpainted if you have a picture of that) and impressively faithful to the source artwork. If I have any criticism it's that the base is too large. It swamps and isolates the model. It it had more interest, such as a rising pillar or stone archway, to frame or focus attention to the model, it would work better. As it is (on a product resin base - from Secret Weapon?) I would have preferred to have seen it on a 40mm or even on a 25mm round base in order to focus more on the miniature.
I'm now off to your gallery to look at more angles of this mini.
